PACK BURRO RACING

Held in the heart of the historic Cripple Creek and Victor Mining District and this year for the first time during the Victor Gold Rush Days, the oldest continuously held festival in Colorado, the Victor Pack Burro Race offers a short but challenging day of Pack Burro Racing. Please be certain to study the course map. While the course is well-marked, there are several intersecting trails and roads along the route. The bib pick-up and day of race registration starts at 10:00 a.m., race begins at 12:00 p.m.

All racers will receive a finishers prize and free lunch.  This year the prize will be a commemorative bolo tie.  Cash prizes will be paid out to the top finishers along with hiking sticks. Special awards will also be given to the Last Ass and Nicest Ass. The awards ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m.
